A quick explanation
This is a site devoted to convincing Facebook to give me a job. The idea was inspired when I got what appears to have been a form letter back from the very nice Facebook HR staff telling me that I was not right for the job I applied for, and I was also not right for ANY job available. Naturally, I wrote the nice HR folk a reply, but I decided that reply just wasn’t enough. And so this website began!
Note for the curious:
For the record, I’m relatively certain I’m not crazy. I don’t really think this will get me a job with Facebook. Mostly, I think it’ll provide me an enjoyable forum in which to be a funny dude. After watching the Teamcoco gang do their web thing, I noticed that they were funny only about 7% of the time, but because that 7% was really ardent, people still loved them.
So that’s my goal. Not to be funny all the time. Not to be funny most of the time. Honestly, not even to be funny occasionally. I’m going for 7% funny. Wish me luck! Also, follow me on Facebook! Or Youtube! Or Twitter! Or Myspa… ahahahahahahahaha. OK, just kidding on that last bit. Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter are it. And this blog of course.
Note #2: It should probably be noted, for those who are concerned, that I DO actually currently have a job, which I like very much. I’m not hurting for money (though I could always use more!). I just think it’d be fun to see what an offer from Facebook would look like. Also, I hear they have an on-campus chef who provides free meals!
